About the Exam Committee
The Exam Committee at Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS), Udaipur is a vital academic body entrusted with the smooth and transparent conduct of all internal and university examinations. Guided by the academic policies of RTU, Kota, and in compliance with AICTE norms, the committee ensures integrity, fairness, and efficiency in every aspect of the examination process.
Our team diligently manages scheduling, paper setting, invigilation, evaluation, and results, ensuring a credible and student-centric assessment environment.
Objectives
- To maintain the sanctity and confidentiality of all examinations.
- To coordinate the scheduling and conduction of internal, practical, and RTU examinations.
- To ensure strict compliance with university and regulatory examination guidelines.
- To monitor the assessment and result compilation processes within set timelines.
- To facilitate grievance redressal in case of exam-related queries from students or faculty.
Responsibilities
- Planning and Scheduling: Preparing examination timetables for internal assessments and coordinating with RTU for semester exams.
- Question Paper Handling: Securing and managing paper setting, printing, and distribution with utmost confidentiality.
- Invigilation Duties: Assigning and managing invigilators to ensure smooth examination conduct.
- Result Processing: Coordinating evaluation, result collation, and record maintenance.
- Communication with RTU: Serving as the liaison between GITS and Rajasthan Technical University for all examination-related matters.
- Discipline Monitoring: Preventing and managing cases of unfair means or malpractice during exams.
- Documentation: Maintaining exam records, attendance, result sheets, and relevant reports for audits and academic reviews.

Important Guidelines for Students
- Carry your valid admit card and college ID during all examinations.
- Reach the exam hall 30 minutes before the start time.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators (unless allowed) are strictly prohibited.
- In case of emergency or query, contact the Exam Coordinator or invigilator immediately.
- Misconduct or use of unfair means will attract strict disciplinary action as per RTU regulations.
