Overview The Finance Committee at Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS), Udaipur, plays a pivotal role in ensuring responsible financial planning and resource allocation to support the institution’s vision of academic excellence and infrastructural growth. As a statutory body constituted under AICTE norms, the Committee upholds transparency, accountability, and strategic foresight in financial decision-making. 🎯 Objectives

  • To formulate and recommend the annual budget and resource allocation for academic and administrative purposes.
  • To oversee and review expenditures and ensure compliance with statutory financial guidelines.
  • To support infrastructure development, student welfare, and faculty initiatives through effective fund management.
  • To monitor financial audit reports and suggest corrective measures when required.

‍💼 Composition of the Committee The Finance Committee is constituted as per AICTE and RTU regulations and includes senior representatives from the management, academic administration, and finance division:

  • Advising on cost control measures and financial efficiency.

📅 Meeting Frequency The Finance Committee typically meets twice a year or as required to review financial matters and recommend necessary actions to the Governing Body of GITS.
