Team DeepSight from Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS), Udaipur has created history by securing 1st Position at the prestigious IEEE YESIST12 2026 Global Innovation Challenge!

The competition was hosted by Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran (Mohali), where 179 teams from across India participated. Competing in a highly challenging environment, Team DeepSight emerged as both Overall Winner and Track Winner, also winning a cash prize of ₹25,000 in the prelims round.

💡 Their innovative project, “Risk Mitigation During Pre and Post Disaster,” focuses on disaster management by:

• Providing early warnings before events like storms 
• Guiding people to safer locations 
• Supporting effective rescue and relief operations after disasters
