A WORKSHOP ON ”HOW TO MAKE DIGITAL PAYMENTS” TO THE RURAL CITIZENS

As a social responsibly of an engineer towards the rural India, department of Computer Science and Engineering of GITS Dabok had organized a workshop on “Digital Payment Kese Kare?” in Khemli Station(Mavli). Around 50 villagers had attended this event, in which they were trained to use different digital initiatives started by the Government India to promote the Cashless Economy.
The training was given by the Students of B.Tech CSE along with the Assistant Professor Girish Ameta and Jitendra Sharma. Students demonstrated all the digital payments system including USSD, UPI and BHIM. They also went in market at different shops for showing the shopkeepers and consumers to use BHIM app and use of POS machines for daily transactions.
Villagers of khemli actively participated in this event and they did hands-on installation of BHIM app on their smart phones also. The event was also addressed By Shri Mangi Lal Dangi, Sarpanch Khemli. He thanked and encouraged the GITS students and staff member for such activity. Dr. K.N. Seth Director GITS and Dr. V. R Raghuveer HOD CSE motivated these students for this activity. The event was organized at Human Computer Education centre Khemli.
