Department of MCA, established in 2007-08 with the vision of imparting top-notch education in the field of computer applications useful for bridging the gap between academic and Industry. The Department executes a well-planned syllabus accompanied with topics covered beyond syllabus to gratify the needs of changing technology.
A team of Experienced faculties with high profile not only forms a strong base for students, but also provide a highly motivational, disciplined and knowledge path for them. We have 100 percent industrial trainings and approx.70 percent placements for our youths in the year 2014-2015. Achievements include industrial visits, tours, gym facility, professional trainings on campus, guest lectures, personality development programs, career guidance etc. A strong emphasis is given on the technical and logical development of our students.
Department of Master of Computer Applications continuously strives to achieve excellence in logical thinking and computing disciplines, education and research through collaborative, consultative and participatory approaches. We encourage innovative projects and quality research in various interrelated domains and groom students’ potential to design and develop systems involving the integration of software and hardware devices.
The department is equipped with well qualified and experienced teaching staff and support staff with access to the finest network and software services with more than 300 computing machines and all the required software and peripherals. We encourage and support our students to participate in many national level technical symposiums and workshops each year, besides organize faculty development programs, guest lectures, seminars, workshops, industrial visits at regular intervals in the college.
The Computer Science and IT sector has over the years experienced unprecedented growth and is expected to expand consistently in the future and consequently bring a lot of lucrative job opportunities to students. Computing professionals can explore a variety of career options in academia, research, industry, government, private and business organizations in fields of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Design and Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Operating Systems and Networks, Software Applications etc.
